Why has no one taken Mat to task over stating the M4 is RWD?! The automatic M4 Competition is very much AWD; driving through the same M xDrive system as the M5 Competition. The plain 480hp M4 Coupé - with the manual box - is RWD, but not available in the UK.

I have found that I get the best traction in my C63 by short-shifting 1st gear when I use manual mode... In race mode/auto it short shifts for me. I also switched out to Pilot PS4S tires which made a bit of a difference. In addition, I use launch control but I still pedal it to launch at around 3000 instead of 3500... Still not gonna beat that Audi off the line and that new M4 is a beast. But at least the launch is more optimal than otherwise.

Just for the lucks of the car i would drive de rs5. You could bring the corvette c8 on to the race it would be interesting.
