So when we talk about stopping the killing from cops we mean the unnecessary killing... because not everyone did something wrong when they were arrested. And my dad is alive and well.

A police officer was killed near my Town social media mainly blacks that aren’t from the area glorified the killing. The daughter of the police officer had to delete the social media account, stupid people don’t wanna be judged but they judge police officers they don’t know. They are hypocrites, but you tell them facts and they ignore you. They just hear what they wanna hear and ignore everything.

You don't HAVE to be polite and professional to the officer when you didn't do anything wrong, but look at it from their perspective...they stopped you for a reason. You may loosely match the description of a robbery suspect that just went down, at the end of the day, you have no clue why they're putting you into cuffs or ordering you to the ground, but if you comply, it'll all be over as soon as the figure out you're not the threat. Cops are not cyborgs, they have to often investigate violent crimes with very limited information that still may be coming in. Detain first, investigate later. I assure you, they didn't just pick you out and run over to tackle you because it looked fun. Were the problem comes in is when those people want to fight back or refuse to comply...then it takes an already confused situation and escalates it much further than it would have if that person had simply complied.

@J Coburn Don't knowingly break the law, and if you have an interaction with the police be polite, comply and not argumentative. If you feel you were unjustly treated or otherwise in the right then take it up in court. What cannot be done is taking the issue on yourself by escalating the situation, as you often see in these cases. It's simple, no need for paragraphs.

1. Idk Kevin, on one hand, no ALL cops aren't bad, but ALL cops are not ONLY out to simply to do their job as instructed and trained. 2. "Don't put yourself in those positions..."? Which positions? On one hand, you have those that have been committing a traffic violation or theft, etc., but there is a far larger percentage of those who are law abiding citizens and literally doing nothing but existing that end up in the exact same predicaments regardless. Taking a drive, walking down the street, moving into a new neighborhood, etc. have also become some of these "positions". 3. As a private citizen, not currently in your workplace, why should professionalism be required of you. The cop is at work...that's their job, not yours. Now true, politeness can sometimes go a long way, but you cannot blame someone for being upset when being stopped for seemingly nothing and calling BS, nor is being upset and questioning them on their reasoning a crime. Human emotion is a wonder and it doesn't simply do what you want it to at all times. 4. If the instructions and/or reason for pulling you over or detaining you are legally invalid by your state's laws and you KNOW it for fact, you should not be offering any documents or comments or consenting or complying with or authorizing any type of subsequent search. I understand doing so, if your current personal situation dictates that it might be best for the safety of kids or passengers in your car, but as a baseline of action? It may just temporarily work for you, but it does not set a great precedent of expectation for the next person they choose to do it to. They will expect the same the next time and everyone will not comply, because someone will surely exercise their full rights. I'm not trying to jump on you here, but I think that every cause, effect and action brings about its subsequent effects and actions. We all should think in a precursory manner about how our actions really could affect each other and think critically to examine the thinking of every single side of an argument. That is the door to understanding your fellow man. One piece of path to ending this is imvesting the time to read and learn the laws of your state, county, etc.-your time is a good investment in protecting your rights and possibly protecting your life.
