Not sure what all of the comments about Dark are about. This show is nothing like dark, and I mean nothing at all. There is no comparison to be made between the two shows. Different stories completely. They couldn't be more different. One is science fiction and the other is.....well......?.....not sure exactly what you would call it but it's definitely not scifi related by any stretch of the imagination. Perhaps paranormal/occult/fantasy-horror or something along those lines? Equinox is a sub par show at best; slow, dull, boring. To be honest, I was glad when the season was finished and I can't believed I continued to watch it. Perhaps there was a great deal lost in the dubbing for English. I honestly don't know, but to compare this to Dark is like comparing any one of the Matrix movies to something like The Conjuring, except with The Conjuring it was at least a good movie. Even though The Matrix and The Conjuring deal with two different levels of existence, the two are very different stories. The same goes for Dark and Equinox. Mysterious disappearances, the woods, and perhaps some other minor similarities, but the two are completely different stories.

I am from Denmark and we love Dark so much that we have made our very own Dark TV Show.

this has nothing to do with dark.. that being said... what a waste of time.. with that kind of ending WHY even bother making a "mystery story".... with this ending all the hours previously watched become irrelevant..

My favourite scene was when the goat man did Ida.

Another mysterious series with very little payout in the end.

It started out very well but the further it went the more rushed it felt. good plot but very poor storytelling, and also the way she found out things got very boring as it was mostly in her dreams. had nothing to do with her detective work.

Everybody's talking about "Dark" because it was good. "Equinox" starts off strong, veers into "Black Spot" and then just fizzles out. If you watch it, you'll immediately google "equinox ending explained". And it won't be worth it.

This is not like dark, this is not about any time travel concept just they assume it like its made with dark elements that's all. Nothing special or nothing extraordinary. Bad series

I'm only one episode into the first season and this does not look anything like DARK; so far it looks WAY more like "Limetown" (a facebook watch tv show).

The show is nothing like dark. All the trauma, suspense and thrill they move the show around is just stupid in the end. It's a tale of miscommunication & misuderstanding between a family. If only they just sit & have a chat, openly and just talk. And cult? Humans are just so stupid. They'll follow anything. Watch it or skip it but don't go in with expectations of it being anything like dark.

I really liked it. I'm a bit disappointed reading some bad reviews here. It is nice and you can understand the story perfectly.

All i see is comments about dark, but it is a complete different type of show this on is more about cult staf and dark about time traveling. And this show is much easier to understand then Dark. But this show was suprisingly good imo really enjoyed watching it. I would defenitly recommend it.
