Hey Hugh! you can get rid of battery warning message by simply replacing battery vmr chip of the orignal battery into the replacement one by removing the insulation tape and cutting of the chip but you have to be careful not to bend the flux cables. You do need micro welding machine to weld it to the replacement battery... I know it's tricky n long shot but I would love to see you doing this experiment in your next video.

Well done that was an excellent resto, despite all Apples attempts to hinder such a thing. I am not an advocate of Apple as they are money orientated bastards with limited focus on customer satisfaction or after-sales service. I would never buy their products or recommend them. Huawei or Samsung are the best on the market, always buy and recommend these instead and they are not too fussed about people repairing them. Do Not Support Apple.
